this is Ronan Thompson. he was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 and passed away just a few months ago. this little boy was a fighter, a true cancer patient who fought to have a future of his own. Taylor Swift, followed a blog about this 4 year old little boy. she spent lots of time with him, & really connected with him. when he passed away, she wrote a beautiful song with Ronan’s mother. I don’t know much, and never was a fan of Taylor Swift, but when I heard the song Ronan, I started tearing up. And the trench coat one happens to me. you see, i’ve been fascinated with angels and wings since i’m a kid and i always assumed they’re these greek-goddess-like pretty girls with fluffy wings and flowy hair so when i draw them (i tend to draw girls better than boys) i made them that way.
but then Castiel came into our fandoms life.
and ever since then i’m unable to draw an angel without a trenchcoat. it just felt WRONG. (it’s still usually a female, but with trenchcoat billowing in the wind instead of gowns)

It’s weird being in a flat that you recognise off of the telly. Especially when that flat is 221B Baker street, belongs to Sherlock Holmes and is basically a life sized doll’s house, on scaffolding in a hangar, in Cardiff. It’s like Sherlock Holmes goes 3D interactive. You can walk through it, pick stuff up, sniff things, walk behind things. You don’t because that would probably make important people shout at you. But you could.
